The Somali Museum Dance Troupe is a program of the Somali Museum, and brings together Somali-American youth to study dances from all regions of Somalia as a way to embrace and celebrate their roots. The Dance Troupe is made up of Somali-American youth who are committed to a deep study of their own cultural roots, and who offer excellent performances that can enhance any event.

Taiko is the Japanese word for drum and refers to the modern style of playing these drums. Wadaiko (in Japan) and kumi daiko (in North America) is movement infused, heart-pounding, dynamic group drumming. Think of it as a high energy performance art that combines music, dance, martial arts, athletics, and culture.

The band was founded in 1992 in a small village called Atahualpa in Ecuador. They use traditional instruments of the Andes in their music, including the zampona (a wind flute made from bamboo) and the quena (which is similar to a flute). The Ecuador Manta band has released several albums, including Alegrando El Alma, Sounds of the Andes, Ritmos Raices, Alborada, and Hymns And Spiritual Songs.

Banda La Verdadera plays a type of traditional Mexican music that features brass instruments, woodwinds, drums and singing. The band performs a variety of musical forms, including rancheras, boleros and cumbias. It often performs for festival, weddings, parties, and other events.
